2024 Filing for Twp Officer

Notice is hereby given to qualified voters of Deer River Township, Itasca County, Minnesota, that filing for town office will be held for a two-week period beginning July 30, 2024.

Affidavits of Candidacy shall be filed by appointment by calling the Town Clerk at 218-244-7261 between July 30, 2024 and August 13, 2024, or by filing at the Deer River Town Hall, located at 41183 County Road 19, Deer River on August 13, 2024 from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. Filing will close August 13, 2024 at 5:00 p.m. Last day for a candidate to withdraw from a town election is August 15, 2024 at 5:00 p.m. Filing fee - $2.00

Office to be filled at the 2024 November Election is: Town Board Supervisor C- a four year term; Town Clerk- a two year term; Town Treasurer- a two year term.
