PUBLIC NOTICE OF GENERAL ELECTION

DEER RIVER TOWNSHIP

ITASCA COUNTY, MINNESOTA

Notice is hereby given that the State General Election will be held on Tuesday, November 3, 2026. Deer River Township is a mail-ballot precinct.

Election Day Voting Hours	7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Election Day Voting Location	Itasca County Courthouse, Room 121123 NE 4th StreetGrand Rapids, MN 55744
Ballot-Return Location	Itasca County Courthouse Auditor’s Office123 NE 4th StreetGrand Rapids, MN 55744

All mail ballots must be received by 8:00 p.m. on Election Day to be counted.

The following Deer River Township offices will appear on the ballot:

· Town Supervisor Seat A — Dennis H. Peterson

· Town Supervisor Seat B — Harry G. Rasley

· Town Treasurer — Shelly Bergland

The following Township question will appear on the ballot:

Change to Optional Plan B: Appointment of Clerk and Treasurer

“Shall Option B, providing for the appointment of the clerk and treasurer by the Town Board, be adopted for the government of the Town?”

Voters may vote YES or NO.
