NOTICE OF FILING FOR TOWNSHIP OFFICES DEER RIVER TOWNSHIP

Notice is hereby given that Affidavits of Candidacy for the offices listed below may be filed with the Deer River Township Clerk beginning Tuesday, July 14, 2026, and ending Tuesday, July 28, 2026, at 5:00 p.m.

The following offices will appear on the November 10, 2026 Township Election ballot:

·       Township Treasurer – Four-Year Term

·       Township Supervisor A  – Four-Year Term

·       Township Supervisor B – Four-Year Term

The Deer River Township Hall will be open for filing from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, the last day of the filing period. Individuals wishing to file at any other time between July 14 and July 28, 2026, should contact the Township Clerk at (218) 244-7261 to arrange an appointment.

The filing fee is $2.00.

Candidates may withdraw their Affidavit of Candidacy by filing a written withdrawal with the Township Clerk no later than 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 30, 2026. The Deer River Township Hall will be open from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on July 30, 2026, for the purpose of accepting withdrawals.
